ABOUT THE FORUM
Over the years of its existence, the Bled Strategic Forum has evolved into a leading international conference in Central and South-Eastern Europe, offering an opportunity to express and contrast opinions on modern society and its future. The purpose of the Forum is to gather participants from various fields with diverse knowledge, and encourage them to exchange views and seek out-of-the-box solutions to present and future challenges. ž
In addition, the Forum is also a unique opportunity for meetings and networking with regional and global stakeholders.
LOOKING BACK
Attracting 1400 participants (including BSF, Business BSF and Young BSF) from 80 countries, the 2019 Bled Strategic Forum once again reaffirmed its role as the most successful and biggest foreign policy event in Slovenia and wider region.
The participants in 2019 included 2 heads of state, 1 heads of government, 12 foreign and 36 other ministers, 21 representatives of international organizations and 31 other high-level guests. The Forum was covered by 145media representatives, including television, radio and newspaper journalists, which were supported by 74 partners and sponsors. Around one third of participants at the event were representatives of economy and business.
ORGANIZERS
Bled Strategic Forum (BSF) international conference is a project of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, and is organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the Centre for European Perspective.
